I recently went to a trip , where I recorded a a
a lot of content.
I shot both horizontal and vertical videos.The vertical videos are for short Reels, while the horizontal
footage is for vlogs. I recorded everything—from my travel experiences and personal moments to
to short-form and long-form content.
I use a MacBook and edit everything in Final Cut Pro. The problem is that when all the files are copied
over, they tend to look the same. I often can’t tell which clips were recorded in horizontal format and
which ones were recorded vertically.
With this feature, after importing and trimming the footage, you can simply clickthe view options
and it clearly shows the aspect ratio and orientation of every clip It becomes very easy to identify
which files are horizontal and which are vertical.
Once you know which file you need, you can simply select it, AirDrop it, and start editing.
This has made my workflow much easier and saved me a lot of time.
